Your subs log their hours, notes and photos right on your job, so you never retype their work. Free for you, free for them.

You stop retyping your subs' work. Their hours, expenses, notes, photos and checklist answers land on your job as they work, once their phone has signal. You get there by inviting each sub into your ToolBerry workspace with a link. The sub keeps their own business in a separate free workspace on the same phone.
Both sides use ToolBerry Free. The sub doesn't need an account, an email or a Dropbox account to join, and you don't pay a seat fee to add them. One part isn't solved yet: the sub still writes their own invoice in their own workspace. More on that below.
Because when a company and its subs use different apps, someone copies the same address, hours and photos twice. A big company pays an office person for that. A two-person shop pays with its evenings, and the details that get lost in texts turn into callbacks and arguments over hours.
Subs live this every week. A good tech often starts as someone's employee, goes out on their own, and keeps working for the old company as a sub. If every company they work for runs a different app, the sub either learns several tools or does it all on paper and texts. I built ToolBerry so a sub can work any job from one free app, with one link from each company that hires them.
The sub works your job in your workspace, and you see the hours, photos and checklist answers without a single call or text. The sub's own customers and invoices stay in their own workspace on the same phone, apart from yours and apart from any other company they work for.
Imagine you run a small remodeling company and a kitchen job needs an electrician for two days. You add the electrician in ToolBerry and text them an invite link. They tap it, and your workspace shows up on their phone next to their own.
On Tuesday they open your kitchen job, read your notes, log their hours, snap the panel before the wall gets closed, and tick off your checklist. At your desk, it's all already on the job. No photos to save one by one. No "what time did you leave?" call. No typing their notes into your system at night.
On Thursday a roofing company that also uses ToolBerry has the same electrician on an attic fan job. That roofer's workspace sits on the phone as a third business. The remodeler never sees the roofer's jobs, and neither company sees the electrician's own customers.
Add the sub to your People list, give them a role, and tap Invite to shared workspace. The sub taps the link on their phone. Joining adds your workspace next to the sub's own and never replaces it, so their own customers and jobs stay exactly as they were.
